The new interactivity of magazine reading: Wired for iPad

A few days ago Wired Editor-in-Chief Chris Anderson announced the big news: by summer the publication would be releasing its content for the iPad. And with a short demonstration live on stage at TED and in a video online they allowed a taste of what magazine reading might look like in the future.

The centre of the App is interactivity. Readers will be able to flip through the magazine page by page just as usual, but at the same time they can move between stories immediatelly. Rich media, like expandable images, 360-degree views and embedded videos characterise the special reading experience.

It's supposed to be easy as pie to share articles, information, videos and whatever interesting stuff you find in your Wired App on social platforms, such as Facebook or Twitter. To me this is literally so not wired, but rather highly unattached!
